“The King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”-Mathew 25:40
Since we are not able to come together to make sandwiches for the homeless, St. Joseph contacted the LOA project to see how we could help since homelessness still exists and is growing. Ways we can help are sewing mittens and making protein/mylar blanket bags.
Sewing Pre-cut Mitten:
We will be receiving mitten kits of precut material that just need to be sown soon see the YouTube video on how to sew: https://youtu.be/GYiQHwJbgjA
Instructional Video: https://youtu.be/9xvPKDkQe8A.
Contact Julie Loscheider at 952-442-3703 or email@example.com if you are interested in receiving a mitten kit that will include the pre-cut material and instruction sheet.
Protein Pack Donations:
We are going to start collecting, protein bars of any kind/brand, granola bars of any kind/brand, sandwich bags, and mylar blankets. Mylar blankets can be found on Amazon. The mylar blankets are very essential for the homeless so we will be including these in the bags. If you are able/willing to donate any or all of these items the faith formation students will assemble the bags.
Drop off your donation into the donation tote located at the school entrance double doors #1.
