Reconciliation

First Reconciliation, the Sacrament of Forgiveness/Healing, is celebrated in the second grade prior to the reception of First Eucharist.

Preparation for the sacrament begins with a Parent-only session in October, continues with student classroom and home study, and is completed at a Penance Service in December. Second graders should be attending weekly Mass with their families, and are asked to complete three Mass Sharing sheets before reception of the sacrament.

Please contact Julie Loscheider for more information at (952) 442-3703.

If you are an adult or youth who wish to receive First Reconciliation, visit the “Becoming Catholic (RCIA)” tab.

Reconciliation Times

Mondays at 5:30 pm
Saturdays at 4:00 pm

Here is how:
1) Go to the Rectory.
2) Fr. Stan will be at the door with the glass/screen door closed waiting to hear confessions.
3) Say your confession to Fr. Stan through the door.
4) If you are “waiting in line”, please remain in your car to preserve the privacy of the person confessing at the door.
5) Walk up when there is no one else at the door for your turn to receive the sacrament of reconciliation.

Please check the Parish Calendar for updates!

You may also schedule an appointment with Father Stan by calling the parish office: (952) 442-2384.

Reconciliation Services are scheduled during Advent and Lent of each year.
