Friday, March 27, at 7:30 pm, following Stations of the Cross
Experience the solemn beauty of Holy Week with The Solemn Shadows, a Tenebrae service at St. Joseph. Through music, scripture reflections, and the extinguishing of candles, the service guides us into the shadow of Christ’s Passion while anticipating the hope of Easter.
This candlelit service moves from shadows into complete darkness, inviting you to sit quietly with the weight of your own heart. Though the darkness may feel unsettling, it is part of the journey, not the end. Jesus’ story carries us beyond the shadows, leading us forward into light, hope, and new life.
“In the dark night of the soul, bright flows the river of God.” – St. John of the Cross
