“Volunteers work to promote respect for human life from conception to natural death through education, prayer, action, and advocacy. The committee meets monthly to discuss respect life issues, plan events, and pray.
Time commitment: Meets monthly for one hour.”
First Reconciliation, the sacrament of forgiveness/healing, is typically celebrated in the second grade prior to the reception of First Eucharist. Students must be baptized in the Catholic Church. Preparation for the sacrament includes classroom sessions, two parent and student sessions, a parent-only meeting, and a retreat. Second graders are asked to attend classes, weekly Mass, and complete their reconciliation workbook before reception of the sacrament.
Our purpose is to invigorate the St. Joseph Catholic Community by encouraging, supporting, and nurturing women in the faith and by equipping and mobilizing women as intentional disciples of Christ. Gather, Nurture, Send!
