Grief Group

The St. Joseph Grief Group provides an opportunity for those who have lost a loved one to come together in faith and support. We are stronger together and as a community, we can help support others through grief which helps us process our own grief.

Join us starting
March 22 at 9:00-11:00 am
Come to the St. Paul Conference Room
in the lower level of the church.

Meetings will be on the Second and Fourth Fridays of every Month.

Clerical Work

“Sort, collate, and stuff mailings or assist with simple clerical tasks in the parish office. Qualifications include the ability to sort/alphabetize and handle repetitive motions, with most work being seated.

Time commitment: Approximately 3+ hours as needed, depending on the size of the mailing.”

Small Group Leader for Family Formation (Pre K – 5th Grade)

“Work with a partner to guide small group discussions, implement activities, and provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment. Leaders meet approximately twice per month (September-May). Training and ongoing support are provided. Participants must complete the safety requirements prescribed by the Archdiocese (Virtus).

Time commitment: 1-2 hours per month.”

Gather & Grow: Waconia Food Shelf

Volunteers assist with the day-to-day operation of the food shelf, serving Western Carver County families in need. The food shelf is operated by a volunteer advisory group with representatives from St. Joseph and other Waconia area churches.
