Homebound Eucharistic Ministry

“Volunteers bring Holy Communion to Catholics in Ridgeview Medical Center, nursing homes, apartments, and private homes. Transportation must be provided by the volunteer. Training and background checks are required by the Archdiocese.

Time commitment: Sundays, once every 4-6 weeks, or weekdays 1 hour per week.”

Prayer Shawl Committee

“Volunteers crochet and knit white baby blankets for newly baptized members and create prayer shawls for those who are ill, experiencing loss, or are lonely. These shawls are offered to parishioners and their friends or relatives.

Time commitment: Done at home.”

Money Counting

“Work with a team to count proceeds from the Sunday collection. Requires good math and money counting skills.

Time commitment: Teams are scheduled on a rotational basis, about once a month on Monday mornings for about 1.5 hours.”

Finance Council

The Finance Council provides guidance to ensure efficient handling of parish operations, maintaining financial stability, and assisting in budgeting, long-term forecasting, and planning for maintenance and improvements. It oversees financial projections, budgets, investment strategies, and fixed assets.
